Aziz Al-Shair

Azeez Al‑Shaair is a linebacker for the Houston Texans and one of the most consistent tacklers in the NFL today. Having grown up in a large family faced with early obstacles and limited resources, Azeez understands the pressures many young athletes experience when striving for more with less. Despite these challenges, he earned a scholarship to Florida Atlantic, leading the team in tackles and garnering First-Team All-Conference USA honors. He launched his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers, later joining the Titans and Texans—amassing over 160 tackles in 2023 alone.

Off the field, Azeez is deeply committed to giving back, supporting his younger brothers while at FAU, and earning community-service accolades in the NFL. His story—from hardship to NFL success—is a living testament to resilience, leadership, and service.
